INFORMATION

MKC104001 Engine ECU (S2) set for MGF 143 VVC, tested and deemed in good working order, contains:

Engine ECU MKC104001 – located in engine bay on left side
Black SCU body control Unit YWC106240 – fixed to underside of heater controller
Volumetric Sensor YWC105910 – these are not coded so no need to change – good to keep for a spare – located behind rear speaker cover
2 x key fob – we recommend new batteries are fitted – click here

This ECU set can come with various SCU and Volumetric Sensor part numbers and some plugs differ on early models. We urge you to check / match all 3 numbers with your own before ordering.

Please note the engine ECU, SCU & Fobs are all programmed together and must all be changed together for the engine to run and immobilizer to turn off. You cannot just change one part. Ensure main car battery is fully charged, change all units and repeat pressing lock / unlock on fob until it synchronizes and works as normal. Generic picture used. Some fobs provided are aftermarket – if this concerns you please ask before ordering.
