When purchasing goods from MGFnTFBITZ electronically online, by telephone or in person, you ‘the buyer’ are deemed to be in full understanding & acceptance of our Terms & Conditions noted below:
MGFnTFBITZ are a specialist parts supplier for MGF and MG TF cars. We have 1000s of parts on the shelf ready for collection or dispatch to UK and Worldwide destinations. Parts offered for sale may be ‘New’, ‘New Old Stock’, ‘Remanufactured’, ‘Refurbished’ or ‘Used’. Each part description in our website shop will identify its condition so you are fully aware prior to purchase.
Goods categories offered for sale:
’New’ denotes new original or new aftermarket. We would record that some original suppliers no longer exist and X Part have had to seek alternative manufacturers to provide parts.
‘New old stock’ unused surplus MG Longbridge parts or stock originally shipped to China and now back in the UK. Some of this stock may be lightly marked, rusted or dusty as the parts have been in storage.
‘Remanufactured’ some parts are no longer available and it is necessary to remake to original or an improved pattern sometimes in stainless steel for better preservation characteristics
‘Refurbished’ good condition used parts have been painted / powder coated / chromed to protect or enhance its appearance
‘Used’ tested parts removed from a donor vehicle which has been stripped for spare parts and deemed fit for reuse. Being used it may be rusty, oily or dirty and may need a clean-up before fitting.
Prices:
We make every effort to ensure prices are up to date but we reserve the right to amend costs at any time without notice. We have no statutory obligation to sell goods at the price listed or quoted if that price is incorrect. UK quotations are valid for 7 days. Overseas prices incorporating shipping quotes are valid for 5 days. These quotes do not include any customs / import charges. All import / customs charges are payable by the buyer prior to delivery. The shipper will contact the buyer requesting payment before the goods are released for delivery.
Payment:
We accept payment by major credit & debit cards, PayPal, Bank transfer or Cash. Cheques are not accepted. Debit / credit cards are processed through Payzone. This is one of the UK’s largest payment gateways. MGFnTFBITZ do not store card details. We reserve the right to refuse payment if we feel it is fraudulent.
Delivery:
With best endeavour, we & our couriers will always aim for a next working day delivery. Online customers using recorded delivery option are sent tracking info via the website. Small envelopes & low value goods in small boxes will go via Royal Mail 1st class which is normally next working day but on occasions can take up to 3 working days depending on your location. Please factor this in if you need your order urgent, perhaps a delivery upgrade option as shown on website may best suit you. Recorded delivery parcels will go via Parcelforce / APC / DPD / UPS / FedEx / TNT. Large parcels such as bumpers / long pipes will be shipped on a 48 hour service. For all deliveries, we need a name, occupied address, safe place to leave & mobile number. Failure to provide will delay shipment. The courier will deliver between the hours of 8.00 am and 6.00 pm and parcels must be signed for or left in safe place as instructed. Parcels will not be left unless you instruct us at order stage. In the event of a failed delivery as no one is home, the customer must contact the courier via the calling card left, to rearrange delivery or collect from the courier’s local depot (a further delivery cost may be levied or storage charges in the event of pallets).
Express Delivery Upgrade: Orders placed on a Friday, this express option will not give you a Saturday delivery. For all Saturday deliveries, you will need to contact the office for a quote.
Whether it be next day, a 2 day or an overseas with estimated delivery time and it takes a little longer to arrive, there will be no refund of postage or shipping from us or the courier. You are paying for a delivery service and it is every time sent with best endeavour and with best intent, using reputable couriers. The buyer shall check contents & notify MGFnTFBITZ in the event of any issues within 48 hours.
Non Delivery:
Dates / Times for delivery are provided in good faith and are an estimate only. Events leading to non-delivery i.e. force majeure (acts of god, adverse weather, strikes, vehicle break down or similar), courier / buyer or seller errors, delays through customs or no one being present to sign for the parcel, MGFnTFBITZ accept no liability or responsibility for loss of profit, charges or expenses incurred. Please order goods in plenty of time to limit such an occurrence.
Returns:
‘New‘ goods only carry a 12 months warranty providing the goods have been used in the correct manner for a normal everyday vehicle. Goods used for extraordinary use namely racing, rallying, track days or stripped down / modified or lowered with non-standard springs, will not be covered.
All other definitions ‘new old stock’ ‘remanufactured’ ‘refurbished’ or ‘used’ carry no warranty.
Faulty goods can be returned for an exchange / refund once our ID tagging marks have been verified.
You may be asked for photo evidence rather than returning goods. This is at the discretion of MGFnTFBITZ
Goods ordered incorrectly can be returned within 30 days for a refund or exchanged minus 20% checking / testing & restocking plus postage / packing costs. All goods returned should be packed securely to avoid damage & shall include the original invoice number and details of the fault.
Cancellation:
If you wish to cancel your order, please call the office immediately on 01457 238202 If you call after 2pm your parcel may already be in transit, you will then need to wait for delivery and then return the order to us at your cost for a refund less dispatch costs. If box has been opened then it will be subject to our 20% checking / restocking charge as well so please do not open the box.
Liability:
MGFnTFBITZ endeavour to provide parts that are fit for purpose however it is the responsibility of the buyer to use the services of a qualified / trained and capable technician to check compatibility, worthiness and suitability before and after fitting. The seller ‘MGFnTFBITZ’ shall in no circumstances be liable to ‘the buyer’ whatsoever (including for the avoidance of doubt, consequential loss, damage or injury) whether suffered by the buyer or any other party due to design / component failure, unsuitability, negligence, recommendations provided or opinions given.
Complaints:
We take the satisfaction of our customers very seriously. If you feel you have received a substandard service from MGFnTFBITZ we would like to hear about it so that we can prevent a repeat. We will make every effort to remedy genuine problems as speedily as possible. Complaints can be made by email to sales@mgfntfbitz.co.uk or over the phone on 01457 238202 during working hours.
