Mr Bs Copperleaf MGF is a lovely car but was somewhat tired underneath and in need of some loving… Some loving she certainly got.
The subframes were cleaned, treated and painted to preserve them. Every single bush, ball joint, track rod end was replaced
a new 2 pot AP brake upgrade was fitted on the front, new calipers on the rear with new discs and pads all around.
Cooling system benefited from stainless under pipes, a new twin fan radiator and new expansion bottle and cap.
A powder coated under tray was fitted with stainless bolts.
The head gasket / water pump / belts / tensioner were replaced, with a full service on engine with plugs, oil, air and fuel filters and quality oil
A full new exhaust system was fitted with a stainless TT mk7 silencer giving a lovely purr to this Copperleaf MGF
Under bonnet was refreshed with lots of lovely powder coated bits and secured with stainless bolts
To finish her off, shot blasted and powder coated silver sparkle 11 spoke alloys clad with brand
new Falken tyres and on top a gorgeous brand new genuine MG Mohair heated glass screened hood was fitted
After 4 wheel alignment and MOT she was returned to her seriously happy owner
Mark has had this car from new and says it feels better now and sounds superb with the burble of the sports exhaust
We can honestly say it is one of the best MGFs we have ever driven.
